First off, i would like to congratulate you guys on hosting the only populated US Power Struggle server for Crysis Wars. I would also like to say that you guys have one hell of a big monthly bill! I would donate, but i have no money.
I would like to suggest a couple things to help improve your server, with the main issue being the tank spamming that happens 24/7 on your server. Me and many others agree that the tanks are a problem on your server, and it makes some people quit and look at the European servers even though that means a higher ping.
I know that there are currently ways to counter tanks, 6 rocket launcher shots or two three mines, blah blah blah. The problem is when you have an armada of 3-4 tanks, and they successfully manage to camp every way of escape possible. I have a couple solutions:
Solution #1: Increase Tank Price: The air is already regulated heavily to 20 people in the server (which is bugged btw), and 500 for heli and 1500 for a Vtol. Because of the air regulations, this takes out a possible way to destroy tanks. I suggest that you also raise the price of tanks to 800P, and leave the AAA tank at its current price. This will significantly reduce the amount of tank spamming and camping that occurs on your server every day.
Solution #2: Regulate Tank Numbers: You could regulate the tank numbers to a maximum of 2 per team. This will allow those dedicated tank players on your server to still tank, but will take out the middle man looking to invest prestige to get 3000 for spamming missiles. This will also allow an easier way to get past tanks or take them out.
Solution #3: Reduce the price of C4 and strengthen its power against armour. Im sure we all remember the fun ol' days of the first Crysis, where you strap on a couple C4 to a humvee, and ram it into a tank. In Crysis 1, this would blow the tank up, and it was the tanks fault for not seeing you in the first place. I suggested this in your server and many wished that this would be a viable alternative to blowing up tanks. Its fun, its tactical, it occupies complainers instead of having them spam the chat, and it is the tanks own fault for not seeing them get rammed by a car bomb.
I hope you guys consider implementing these, because your server is pretty much the only place i can play, and i would like to improve how it is run.
sorry to say it but leave the AA at the current price is the stupidest thing i ever heard
the AA is the most powerful tank in the game and if a AA cost 200 and a gauss tank cost 800 you'd be stupid not to buy an AA
Good suggestions, however these ideas will probably not be implemented on the server. More rules would make the server more unpopular. I get how many tanks can be a real annoying thing to deal with, but it happens and you have to adapt to the situation.
I agree that tank spam is stupid and annoying. If i were make any changes to the server regarding tanks, i would want the rocket launcher to do 33% damage or more with each rocket hit on any side. If the rocket hits the back of the tank, it could do 40% damage.

Tanks are also what make the world go round. Alot of players enjoy using tanks, and even though you can easily get out numbered tanks still have their weaknesses and constraints.

The air/population regulation is not bugged at all. It counts everyone and anyone who is connecting/connected to the server... whether they are spectating or still loading the map. This is Cryteks GetPlayerCount() function and I didnt bother to question. The difference between air and armor, is air can be so much more powerful. Look at it from an infantry standpoint... Air moves faster, can go anywhere, has large splash damage, and get hide anywhere to repair. Armor, can't move as fast, can only use ground that is crossable, still large splash, and can easily be followed if it needs to be repaired. Air > Armor in most cases. That is why it is limited. Tanks could be limited, but should be oh so lightly.

2 tanks per team is a terrible number, there are for sure more then 5 people on a team who like to use armor. This would kill the server before it being implemented.

I almost like this idea. Only because it was fun to car bomb people... but when we increase one part, it would be overpowered to other things.
This isn't InstantAction Talon, PowerStruggle has tanks, and that it what the game mode is. Tanks aren't supposed to be weak. Most people like the server for their freedom of gameplay, I don't really want to limit it.
While tanks are a problem infantry are usually to blame. When playing Mesa and your team has c7, we send our tanks to fight your tanks. Then some infantry come along and cap c7 warfac and a lot of milking happens at the c7 bunker then the enemy tanks come. We loose c7 then we have a very hard time getting stuff back. I'm tired and can't hold a whole argument in my head so I'll jsut say it. Play responsibly and realise other people want to have fun too and show that you respect that by not kill-whoring.
increase rocket damage to kill in 3 shots instead of 4 for tanks. Also make the damage per shot do more damage because people just get out of the tank and repair, and you just waste rockets.

it is uncommon for USA players to rush c7 and it rarely happens. People sometimes get tired of going to the same place and capping. Its also usually just one person going to c7 and they end up dying pretty soon anyway because of a 6v1, so I dont think its a problem. If you want to, you can rush e4 if your nk and take the bunkers too. In fact, i have seen more NK players rush e4 than USA players rush c7.
I just think that because air is regulated, that tanks should have more regulations also, to help balance it out. Also when I try to buy a helicopter when there is a 10on10 going, and the server says "wait until 20 players are in the server", it is quite bugged.
i would love the C4 to be implemented. I doubt it would be too overpowered against other stuff, because claymores are generally used against infantry (or the infamous clay then mine on top).
How about more maps?
Beach would be a cool option. Shore is also a very good map.
This solves our problem. We have been playing more maps lately and to be honest the ones you mentioned wouldn't affect the tank gameplay of the many. I even with shore it's unfair because only one tank can makes tanks and henceforth fluffing the game as we know it a imploding the world. It's sort of like Refinery except Refinery is better for infantry to ninja around.

We do not run shore. Beach is nice but difficult to admin and Nk has the landscape advantage. Refinery and the other smaller maps are nice but they are very fast paced and not a lot of people want to do that map after map. I wish there was a way to encourage teamwork because that would make tanks a lot less gamechanging.
