 Post SoundBug FIX 4 NOOBS
Posted: Thu Sep 25, 2008 3:38 pm

Ok, I've seen a lot of people asking how to solve the sound bug in !BROS crysis servers so here it goes one last time and with more details and steps:

1.- Download the file that rc10racer placed on the first post to your computer.

2.- Extract the file using winrar or other that supports .rar to your desktop.

3.- Cut the file and place it inside your default crysis folder that it should be C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis --- for x86bit OS's and C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis for x64bit --- OS's.

4.- Open the file with notepad.

5.- You'll see:
bind np_1 s_soundenable 0
bind np_2 s_soundenable 1

6.- I'm not a pro code-dude but I suppose "np" stands for NumPad so, you can edit those 2 buttons changing the number after "np_" that should bind that piece of code to your NumPad's whatever number you place there.

7.- Open crysis and when you face the sound bug, press the button bind to "soundenable 0" first and then the button bind to "soundenable 1".

8.- SoundBug FIXED.

I'm going to try n just type that in the console and see if it will auto save (meaning i wont have to type it in console every time) if it works you can use that method instead of downloading the file and may be easier for nubs who can't run winrar..lol, or type it every time you start crysis or before joining BROS, lol. Confused

there's an x86 bit OS?!? wtf i want 64 bit to utilize my 4gb's, whats up with x86 bit, wtf? windows? xp? Question

WHITE: remember our battle at 9pm-ish Thursday night October second two thousand and eight(ROFL), my missile launcher vs your MDAR (the freeze one). I was shaking out fast as fuck and you'd refreeze me fast as fuck, repeated bout 5 times all whilst im scrolling to find my rifle, passing up my missile launcher, only to find i dont have a rifle, i then say fuck it and got a missile off somehow and ACTUALLY KILLED A MAN (the man being you, lol) WITH A DAMN SHITTY ASS PRO-HUMAN ROCKET LAUCHER! I was psyched even tho i died too, but i got kill credit ;p love u, no homo. pz

ps im high, think thats why i wrote a gaggle of alpfffhuhhbuhhmet elements!

If you Have 64-Bit OS (XP, Vist, Win 7), then put in this folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis Wars

If you have regular 32-Bit OS, then put in this folder:

C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis Wars

Well lets just try and make this simple as possible:

1. Find your game folder in "Program Files" folder on your hard drive. This should be on your "C: Drive"

2. Should be looking for "C:Program Files/Electronic Arts" Note: If you dont have a Crytek folder, then skip and just look for your game folder.

A. For Crysis, find the "Crysis" Folder and put your autoexe file in that folder.
Then you should be looking for:

"C:Program Files/Electronic Arts/Crysis"

B. For Crysis Wars, find the "Crysis Wars " Folder and put your autoexe file in that folder.
Then you should be looking for:

"C:Program Files/Electronic Arts/Crysis Wars"

Other Folders that would be in your "Crysis" or "Crysis Wars" game folder are:

Bin 32
Game
Tools
Support
Shaders
Pb
Log Backups

depending on your OS these folders may or may not also be there

BIN 64
Screenshots
Profiles
Saved Games

Since this is really starting to piss me off(i mean the problem not you marauder Wink )

Im Gonna post all folders that are actually there on my pc connected to crysis.

My Drive is splitted to 2 parts, Windows and automatic installed stuff on C, all the Bullshit on D
C:

C:\Users\Maxim\Documents\My Games\Crysis Is the Only Folder connected to Crysis on C
Contents: Folders: Profiles, Savegames, Shaders
Files: game.cfg (in wich i copied the autoexecommands into, but it didnt work out either and i also tried to just copy the autoexec besides it)
TSP.xml wich is somekinda bullshit

C:\Users\Public theres a Crysis.exe wich is somekinda backup from years back i guess

D:

D:\Games\Crysis
Contens: Folders: Bin32,Bin64, Game, LogBackups, Pb,Support,Tools, and a log file called game

other binds on the numpad.

What now?
